At Hamilton Home Co, we utilise the following shipping and delivery methods:

Australia Post:

$12 flat rate applies to all homewares orders (excluding multiple items, whereby the rate will vary). Some products can be purchased as a bundle to save postage costs. Tracking information will be advised on dispatch.

All online homewares orders will be dispatched with ‘Authority to Leave’ at the time of purchase. Although the courier will use their discretion, if they do not think it is safe to leave your parcel unattended, they will take your parcel to the depot and will leave a card to call.

Freight Companies:

Furniture items are sent through one of several freight companies. Our freight deliveries are sent straight to your doorstep and require a signature upon delivery to acknowledge that the items have been received in a reasonable order. Due to liability issues, the customer is responsible for bringing any merchandise into their home, so we recommend that you have someone available to help you unload, unpack and install your furniture.

Standard shipping is a 1 man delivery service. Delivery is to front door only. This service does not include furniture assembly or rubbish removal. Couriers may need assistance unloading heavy items.

Furniture costs vary due to the size and weight of the item, along with the distance to the end destination. The freight cost should appear at checkout once your address is entered. Some products require a customised quote due to their size (usually outdoor furniture). Please email with your delivery address and item details, should a freight cost not be available at the time of your order.

In very exceptional cases where delivery may result in unusually high freight charges (including, but not limited to, remote delivery locations, inner-city deliveries, island deliveries, etc.), Hamilton Home Co reserves the right to cancel an order. Please contact us first if you’d like to check if your location may be subject to unusually high freight charges.

Upon the arrival of your package, please note any damage to the box as well as any damage to the item itself. If you feel that the damage to an item or a box is too severe please refuse the package. There is no need to refuse all delivered packages if most are in good condition.

We endeavour to send all stock within 3-5 business days (with the exception of made to order artworks). We use various courier services and their delivery windows can vary depending on the area its being delivered to. Please expect your delivery within 3-14 business days.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require an out of stock item, as usually we can place a backorder with the supplier and advise approximate due date.

Delivery of items is subject to availability, and we cannot accept responsibility or liability for any item it is not able to supply. However, we will offer you a store credit for any item that is unexpectedly delayed.
